Space Hero – the rocket has launched!

The latest site to come off the blocks here is www.spacehero.com.au, a commercial property website with a difference.

The client wanted to build a website for commercial property within the Brisbane CBD and fringe, with a difference.  He wanted to stand out from the crowd by showcasing each property with really amazing imagery and video footage. His background was in photography and film so he had bucket loads of experience and a great vision.

He also wanted to push some boundaries and use lots of interactive functionality to make finding real estate really easy.

To bring his vision to life, we knew we would need some pretty hefty thinking time at the start.  The client had been burnt before.  So to ensure that we were accountable and the client felt confident, we wrote a significant strategy document. The document was the focal point of the project.  It outlined exactly what we were going to build prior to building it.  It was a living document that changed as it needed to.  It helped alleviate any uncertainty during the development process as it was all there in black and white.

The other really interesting part of this project is the back-end (you couldn’t say that about many of us LOL).  Seriously though, the management system driving the site is enormous.  The client can manage the packaging up of the listings, invoicing, automated emails and updates, all in the one place.

Also what we like about Space Hero is that we presented a case for going with one of our search engine optimization (SEO) partners, eWeb for a SEO strategy.  We are pleased to report that Space Hero have now engaged eWeb and have put in the hard yards by pounding the pavement with the CBD real estate offices.

And it would be remiss of me to not mention our buddies, The Hoopla Family, who were kind enough to bring us this job.  If you don’t know them, The Hoopla Family is an uber-cool Paddington ad agency.  We love their work and the way they work.  Yay for them!
