While the internet expands and bandwidths broaden, the definition of multimedia constantly evolves.
In traditional terms, multimedia includes offline interactive product such as video, CD-Rom, DVDs and self contained animations.
Simply put, multimedia development mostly involves the creation of interactive files that are too big or inappropriate to deliver over the internet.
The most popular use of multimedia at MeTTro is for the creation of interactive presentations and educational software.
Some of our multimedia inventions include:
- Tourism Queensland TopShots image library - a series of CDs containing a selection of Tourism Queenslands best images. The user is able to browse and download images quickly and easily.
- SecurityMail animations - a series of 3 animations which tell the story of SecurityMail.
- Bundaberg Ginger science of flavour interactive - a touch screen interactive which guides the user through the elements of the ginger plant.
